After graduating from Florida State University, Joshua moved to Los Angeles
with a friend and together they made a short film for which they both
received awards at the prestigious New York Film Festival.
Between 1997 and 1998 Joshua appeared in four films before moving to New
York City. Upon his arrival in NYC, Joshua quickly landed the lead roles
in the off-Broadway productions of Hurlyburly, Fool for Love,
and Crimainal Genius.
In 2001 Joshua was cast as the lead character in the film, Head Games
alongside fellow actor Mekhi Phifer. Other than Purple Pastures,
Joshua was also a featured actor in the Alias Films feature film, The
Bench (2002).
He's also had guest
starring roles in the critically acclaimed television shows, Law &
Order: Criminal Intent (NBC) and Sex and the City ( HBO).
