HAJJI MAJER

 


Hajji Majer began his music career in Albany, New York before relocating to New York City in November, 1993. As a drummer/percussionist Mr. Majer has recorded and performed with the bands 100 Acre Wood, Home, and People.

Mr. Majer has also recorded with and toured the United States with the bands Engine, Alger Hiss, Snowday, and Mors Syphilitica. In October of 1999, he began experimenting with and recording musical works for guitar both as a solo artist (the result of which yielded a collection of works entitled "The Boy Who Could Breathe Under Water")
and as part of compositional and improvisational collaborations.

Mr. Majer has composed, performed, and recorded soundtracks for the Alias Films productions of TEMPERANCE (2002), THE BENCH (2003), and PURPLE PASTURES (2004).
