In its simplest form, PURPLE PASTURES (81 minutes), is a clear reminder of the cliché,
“the grass is not always greener on the other side.” However, when examined on
a deeper level, it seems that what “Purple Pastures” is really trying to tell us is that
happiness does not know status. Therefore, nobody is immune from the troubles of life;
and, unfortunately, those troubles are too often self-induced.
